Ballymena Festival Success

A massive WELL DONE to both our P4-7 choir and P1-4 choir on Thursday and Friday this week for their wonderful performances at the Ballymena Festival. The adjudicator gave us some lovely comments and we are very proud of each and every one of them for standing on the stage in the Braid with huge smiles on their faces and singing so well! p4-7 festival p1-4 festival

World Book Day

We are really looking forward to Monday 7th March when we will be celebrating World Book Day. Come to school dressed as a character from a story you like and enjoy a day in school doing lots of wonderful things to do with books. You never know what other surprises there might be as well!

Meet Bobby Bear

We would like you to meet our very own Longstone Bear. Huge thanks Ciara who kindly presented us with it last week. Our last bear was borrowed kindly off Mrs Kirkpatrick so we are so pleased to now have our very own!

We held a whole school competition to choose a name for our own bear and the winner was chosen by Mrs Kirkpatrick. Well done Evie who chose the name ‘Bobby”.

Look out for the sequel to Longstone Bear and see the adventures of Bobby in the not to distant future 🙂
